# Talking-head workflow

Filmsers · Viral Series starter · Worksheet v1

Prepare a host-led episode with a complete spoken script, visual proof and coverage plan, ready for a recording session rather than an empty graph.

## How to use

1. Choose one lesson from the format bible and one matching hook. Write the proof shot before the explanation so you know what must be recorded.

2. Read the script aloud and revise for your natural delivery. Times below are planning estimates, not required platform lengths. Keep only lines you can substantiate with your recorded samples.

3. Map spoken beats to host, setup and detail coverage. Download the notes for your own project; the optional Talking head stamp uses the shared Mojave demo and does not import the script.

## Fictional worked example — One Small Fix

Original teaching proposals, not published results or a promise of virality. Referenced footage must be recorded and reviewed.

### Episode brief

One Small Fix EP01: Where is your lamp? Question: how does lamp position change this frame? Proof: matched samples with only lamp position changed. Takeaway: inspect your setup before buying different gear.

### Opening script and image

Alex: 'Same face, same camera, two lamp positions. Which frame makes the eyes easier to see?' Show A and B side by side. Planned opening: about five seconds; shorten after rehearsal if needed.

### Demonstration script

Alex: 'We kept the chair, camera and exposure fixed. First the lamp was here; then we moved it here.' Show the wide setup and mark positions. Record both samples before claiming either is preferable.

### Explanation and payoff script

Conditional draft after viewing samples: 'In this setup, moving the lamp changes where the shadow falls. Compare the eyes and cheek in these frames.' If the samples do not show a clear difference, say that and redesign the demonstration.

### Next-step script

Alex: 'On your next recording, save two short samples with different lamp positions. Compare them before the full take.' On-screen checklist: keep the camera fixed; change one thing; review both samples.

### Coverage and handoff

Host medium; room wide showing lamp positions; matched A/B frames; insert of position marks. Record clean dialogue, check caption accuracy and approve the comparison labels. Producer must review the actual samples before finalizing the payoff.

## Review before publishing

- [ ] Every spoken claim is supported by the recorded demonstration.

- [ ] The cut can connect opening, proof and payoff without unrelated filler.

- [ ] Audio, captions and comparison labels are reviewed; estimates are not mistaken for finished timing.

## Handoff

Save a versioned copy with your project files. Nothing here automatically imports, schedules or publishes. The demo is shared; keep private production details in your own files.
