How to use it

  1. Start with the actual sample and the owner's current product information. Photograph its front, back, edges, label and included parts; assign reference IDs before planning a demonstration.
  2. Separate what the camera can show from what requires additional evidence. Give each proposed claim an ID, source, scope, status and reviewer. An attractive image is not proof of durability or performance.
  3. Review the lock with the product owner before filming. Record a revision whenever the sample, packaging or wording changes; flag affected shots instead of silently mixing versions.

Review before handoff

  • Every visible product is the intended SKU and revision, not a look-alike or unsupported variant.
  • Every proposed claim has an evidence status and named reviewer; pending copy cannot be treated as approved.
  • Props, package contents and sales terms are clearly separated.

Fictional worked example

Foldline Desk Tray

An original teaching example, not a customer result. Reference filenames are illustrative; no source media is included.

SKU and revision
Fictional Foldline Desk Tray / FL-DT-01 / sample reference v1. A fold-flat tabletop organizer is assumed only for this exercise. No actual sample, specification or owner approval has been supplied.
Visual reference set
Planned references R01 front, R02 back, R03 open corner, R04 folded profile and R05 packaging. Illustrative direction: charcoal body with a small ivory wordmark. Actual color, material, dimensions and logo position must be confirmed from the supplied SKU.
Claim and evidence register
C01: 'Folds flat' / evidence: actual sample demonstration required / status: pending. C02: 'Keeps small desk items together' / evidence: representative use shot and owner review required / status: pending. No approved claim exists in this example. Do not add scratch resistance, sustainability or lifetime claims without appropriate evidence.
Invariants and allowable changes
Keep SKU, proportions, corner construction and wordmark unchanged across all cuts. The tabletop and opening framing may change. Do not retouch a fastening into a different design, hide a required accessory or depict an unoffered color as available.
Inclusions and exclusions
Keys and a pen are demonstration props, not promised bundle inclusions. Packaging contents, accessories, price, stock and delivery terms are unresolved. The film must not imply that the desk or props ship with the tray.
Approval and change impact
Producer requests owner review of R01–R05 and C01–C02. If the corner construction changes, revisit demonstration beat 2 and detail shots 2/3. Keep both lock versions in the production files; no approval is inferred from a filename.

The download includes these prompts plus project, version and approval fields. Duplicate rows when you need more coverage or episodes.

SKU and revision
Record brand, product name, exact SKU, sample revision, date and approving owner.
Visual reference set
List reference IDs for each face, fastening, label and supplied component; identify unresolved details.
Claim and evidence register
For each claim ID, record exact wording, source/version, conditions, reviewer and approved/pending/rejected status.
Invariants and allowable changes
What must remain identical, and which backgrounds, framing or use contexts may vary?
Inclusions and exclusions
Separate supplied parts from props and unresolved sales information.
Approval and change impact
Who approves the lock, what is still pending, and which shots/copy must be revisited after a change?
